These extra-large oyster shells are especially rare due to the length of time it takes for oysters to naturally reach this size. In cooler UK coastal waters, oysters can take several years to grow to approximately 12–14cm long, making each shell a beautifully aged and naturally formed piece of the Dorset coastline.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
