Inspired by Gustav Klimt’s iconic masterpiece The Kiss, these Dorset scallop shell trinket dishes are individually handcrafted and finished with luxurious liquid gold leaf, then sealed with a high-gloss crystal resin for a beautiful, durable shine.

Each shell is sustainably sourced from the Dorset and South East coastlines and carefully prepared in my studio. The design is applied by hand, gilded with gold leaf, and sealed to enhance both colour and durability. Every piece is unique due to the natural shape of the shell.

P R O C E S S
Each shell is thoroughly cleaned, scrubbed, and air-dried before the design is applied. Once complete, it is finished with gilded gold leaf and sealed with a crystal-clear resin to create a glossy, protective surface.

Each Oyster and Scallop shell dish will have subtle variations in its natural size and depth and how the decoupage is applied as every one is individual.

P R E S E N T A T I O N
The shells are wrapped in white tissue paper and are then presented in a natural, branded, sustainable gift box, nestled in white shredded & recycled paper to protect the shell on its journey.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
