A dreamy English summer garden captured inside a naturally formed Dorset scallop shell.
Featuring delicate birds, wild grasses, soft botanical illustrations and painterly countryside tones, this handcrafted shell dish brings together coastal living and vintage nature-inspired design.

Each scallop shell is sustainably sourced from the Dorset and South East coastlines, then individually hand finished in my Surrey studio. The artwork is carefully applied by hand, the edges are gilded with real liquid gold leaf, and the entire shell is sealed beneath a crystal-clear hard resin for a luminous glossy finish.

The result is an elegant decorative piece that feels both timeless and organic — like a tiny fragment of an English garden preserved forever.

Inspired by the rolling Dorset coastline, wild summer gardens and vintage botanical illustrations, every shell is individually handcrafted and completely unique.

P R O C E S S
These shells come straight from the beautiful shores of Dorset and the South East Coastlines. Once they are back in my studio each one is then thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed and left to air dry.

Once they are painted, or the applied decoupage design is completed, they are left to air dry for another day. They are then painted with a gilded gold leaf and sealed with a gorgeous crystal clear resin.

S H E L L S
Each shell dish will have subtle variations in its natural size and depth and how the decoupage is applied, as every one is individual.

P R E S E N T A T I O N
The shells are wrapped in white tissue paper and are then presented in a natural, branded, sustainable gift box, nestled in white shredded & recycled paper to protect the shell on its journey.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
