Each natural Dorset oyster shell is individually selected, carefully cleaned, hand decorated, hand gilded with liquid gold leaf, and sealed beneath crystal-clear glossy resin for a luminous and durable finish.

The richly layered floral pattern evokes antique English country house interiors, botanical heritage prints, and vintage decorative textiles — creating a timeless keepsake that is both practical and decorative.

Inspired by the Dorset coastline, every shell is sustainably sourced from Dorset and the South East coastlines before being thoroughly cleaned, scrubbed, and air dried in my studio.

Once decorated in the William Morris floral style, each shell is hand gilded with shimmering liquid gold leaf and sealed in premium crystal-clear resin for a beautiful glossy finish.

Due to the natural form of oyster shells, every piece varies slightly in shape, depth, and floral placement, making each shell entirely unique.

Your shell will arrive wrapped in white tissue paper and presented in a sustainable branded kraft gift box with recycled shredded paper filler — ready for gifting.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
