This Japanese Kimono Flamingo Oyster Shell Trinket Dish is a striking blend of coastal nature and vibrant design. Decorated with a bold orange flamingo kimono motif, each Dorset oyster shell is hand gilded with liquid gold leaf and sealed with a glossy epoxy resin for strength and shine. No two shells are ever the same, making each dish completely unique.

Each oyster shell is sustainably sourced from the Dorset coastline and individually handcrafted in my studio. Gilded edges, a polished natural pearl interior, and a glossy resin finish make these shells as functional as they are beautiful.

Perfect as a handmade coastal gift, wedding favour, or eco-inspired home accent, these oyster dishes celebrate both artistry and nature.

P R O C E S S
These shells come straight from the beautiful shores of Dorset and the South East Coastlines. Once they are back in my studio each one is then thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed and left to air dry.

Once the painted or applied design is completed they are left to air dry for another day. They are then sealed and painted with a gilded gold leaf and sealed with a gorgeous crystal clear resin.

S H E L L S
Each Oyster or Scallop shell dish will have subtle variations in its natural size and depth and how the decoupage is applied, as every one is individual.

P R E S E N T A T I O N
The shells are wrapped in white tissue paper and are then presented in a natural, branded, sustainable gift box, nestled in white shredded & recycled paper to protect the shell on its journey.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
