Each natural Dorset scallop shell is individually selected, carefully cleaned, hand decorated, gilded with liquid gold leaf, and sealed beneath crystal-clear glossy resin for a luminous and durable finish.

Inspired by the Dorset coastline, every shell is sustainably sourced from Dorset and the South East coastlines before being thoroughly cleaned, scrubbed, and air dried in my studio.

Once decorated in the blue fretwork pattern, each shell is hand gilded with shimmering liquid gold leaf and sealed in premium crystal-clear resin for a beautiful glossy finish.

My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
