Bringing nature indoors :

My inspiration for the ‘crashing waves’ range stems from Sea caves or littoral caves which are formed primarily from erosion caused by waves. They can be formed along the ocean coast and lakeshores where water impacts bedrock. To reflect this act of nature I have deliberately painted the insides of the shell to look like a weathered rock surface with waves splashing up the sides. At the bottom of the shell I have layered paints upon resins to create a deep crystal clear pool. I hope that you agree that this creates a wonderful feeling of looking into an exquisite grotto.

Each shell dish will have subtle variations in its natural size and depth and how the decoupage is applied, as every one is individual.

P R E S E N T A T I O N
The shells are wrapped in white tissue paper and are then presented in a natural, branded, sustainable gift box, nestled in white shredded & recycled paper to protect the shell on its journey.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
