Marimekko inspired Alku red dot scallop shell trinket dish, handcrafted from a natural Dorset scallop shell and finished with liquid gold leaf.

Featuring the iconic Scandinavian-inspired red dot pattern, each shell is individually decoupaged, with the interior sealed in a premium crystal-clear high-gloss resin for a smooth, durable and luminous finish. The rims and reverse are hand-gilded with liquid gold leaf, enhancing the shell’s natural texture and shape.

As every shell is natural, slight variations in size and shape make each piece unique.

Each shell dish will have subtle variations in its natural size and depth and how the decoupage is applied, as every one is individual.

P R E S E N T A T I O N
The shells are wrapped in white tissue paper and are then presented in a natural, branded, sustainable gift box, nestled in white shredded & recycled paper to protect the shell on its journey.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
