A striking pair of natural oyster shell salt and pepper dishes, individually finished by hand and presented on their own sculptural gold metal stands.
Each set contains two naturally cupped oyster shells, carefully selected for their shape and character. The rims are finished with lustrous liquid gold leaf, while the natural pearlescent interiors are sealed beneath a clear resin coating, enhancing their beautiful organic colour and giving the surface a smooth, glossy finish.
The shells sit individually on hand-finished metal stands with an organic driftwood-inspired form. Each stand is finished to complement the shells with matching gold leaf and sealed with protective varnish, turning the cruet set into a decorative feature for the table as well as a practical serving piece.

The natural texture and colouring of the oyster shell is retained, with carefully applied gold detailing highlighting the beautiful ridges and irregularities of the shell.
- Fully Gold Gilded Back
For a richer finish, the entire reverse of each oyster shell is covered in liquid gold leaf, creating a dramatic metallic surface that looks particularly beautiful when displayed on the stands.

Each Oyster or Scallop shell dish will have subtle variations in its natural size and depth and how the decoupage is applied, as every one is individual.
P R E S E N T A T I O N
The shells are wrapped in white tissue paper and are then presented in a natural, branded, sustainable gift box, nestled in white shredded & recycled paper to protect the shell on its journey.
C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
