William Morris’ iconic Pimpernel design, this handcrafted Dorset scallop shell dish features intricate pink florals and rich green foliage in a timeless Arts & Crafts pattern.

Each shell is individually finished by hand with real liquid gold leaf and sealed with a crystal-clear hard resin for a luxurious glossy finish and lasting durability.

A beautiful blend of coastal craftsmanship and classic British design, these decorative shell dishes are perfect as jewellery holders, ring dishes, trinket trays, tea light holders, bedside décor accents, or thoughtful handmade gifts.

Each scallop shell is sustainably sourced from the Dorset and South East coastlines before being carefully cleaned, air dried, decorated, hand gilded, and sealed in my Surrey studio.

Due to the natural shells and handmade process, every piece will vary slightly in shape, depth, and pattern placement, making every shell completely one of a kind.

S H E L L S
Each Oyster or Scallop shell dish will have subtle variations in its natural size and depth and how the decoupage is applied, as every one is individual.

P R E S E N T A T I O N
The shells are wrapped in white tissue paper and are then presented in a natural, branded, sustainable gift box, nestled in white shredded & recycled paper to protect the shell on its journey.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
