The Story of Pimpernel: Designed by William Morris in 1876, Pimpernel captures the swirling tendrils and delicate flowerheads of the plant. Morris loved the design so much he displayed it in his own dining room at Kelmscott Manor.

The Story of Compton: Commissioned for Compton Hall, Wolverhampton, in 1896, Compton was the last pattern Morris saw designed before his death. His doctor famously noted his passing as “simply being William Morris, and having done more work than most ten men.”
