A unique Dorset oyster shell dish, hand-gilded with genuine liquid gold leaf and finished with a crystal-clear resin for durability and shine. Inspired by William Morris’s iconic Strawberry Thief design, this piece blends heritage art with coastal craftsmanship.

Foraged oyster shells from the Dorset and South East coastlines are thoroughly cleaned, air-dried, then carefully decoupaged. Each is gilded with gold leaf and sealed with resin, creating a long-lasting, glossy finish.

Each dish is wrapped in white tissue, nestled in shredded recycled paper, and presented in a sustainable kraft gift box with a thank-you card. Personalised gift notes available.

C L E A N I N G Y O U R S H E L L
My shells are uniquely sealed with a hard wearing gloss epoxy resin which is water resistant but I as a precaution I do not recommend submerging the shells in water and they are not dishwasher safe. Please wipe with a soft cloth.

Your bespoke handcrafted shell comes complete with beautiful gift packaging at no extra charge! I will also provide you with an image of your shell (prior to postage) to save you from unwrapping the shell if you are gifting on to a loved one.
